Other organizations in the neighboring communities also provide assistance to those in need. Clients are encouraged to seek help from these locations when appropriate. For a list of these locations, click here.
The Placer Food Closet Collaboration consists of Placer and Nevada County food closets plus the Placer County Food Bank. They meet once a quarter to exchange information and to share resources. It is through this collaboration of effort that each food closet can improve its ability to help its clients and to help each other.
